Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY) - Per Drop More Crop
Subsidy for drip and sprinkler micro-irrigation systems to improve water-use efficiency on farms.

About this scheme
PMKSY follows the principle of 'Har Khet Ko Paani' and 'more crop per drop'. The Per Drop More Crop component, implemented by the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, funds micro-irrigation systems (drip and sprinkler) and other water-saving interventions such as farm ponds, secondary storage and precision water management. The Micro Irrigation Fund with NABARD provides states additional resources to top up subsidy. Other PMKSY components cover Accelerated Irrigation Benefit Programme and Watershed Development.
